CSE Close Up Panel

This year, our annual panel focused on overcoming failure and vulnerability in the CSE industry delved into topics such as mentorship, imposter sydrome, peer pressure, and defining success. Our panel featured four resilient and accomplished panelists: Professor Justin Hsia, Professor Brett Wortzman, and UW SAC alumns Murathan Sarayli and Eric Fan. Thank you to our panelists for their insightful responses and valuable advice!

As winter quarter can be a challenging time, we hope that this panel can help decrease the stigma our department faces surrounding failure and offer a way for CSE members to connect with each other.
